Facelifts – Cosmetic Surgery For Old Buildings
SPV Special Projects is a Consortium of companies that specialise in the complete internal and external design and build refurbishment and regeneration of large scale commercial buildings, such as hotel groups, leisure facilities, schools, office blocks and shopping centres.Membership of the Consortium is made up of 15 separate companies and consists of both national and international members. There is always a transient member of the team and that is the current Client or their representative.
The Consortium was founded early in 2008 when a group of like minded companies joined forces to create a specialist technical and design service for working with “faces”. All component companies are well established and have an excellent track record within their respective fields. Driven by a desire to go back to “old fashioned values” – by way of championing the importance of communication and collaborative working – the team draw on their individual areas of expertise to address specific project requirements.
We are companies that like to “think outside the box”. A recent example of this being the innovative use of the cladding panels used at Holiday Inn Cardiff. The cladding panels used were a first for the UK and a world first for the way they were applied.
The Consortium not only has members from the UK but also from France, Italy and Germany. We will undertake work both on the mainland and abroad. Having just completed work on the prestigious Stade de France we are now in consultation for works in Geneva and Morocco as well as many projects closer to home.
What makes us different? We have the capability within the Consortium to take your project from conception to completion and beyond. Our architects can provide dynamic exciting plans and drawings with visual projections of the finished project, our project managers and contractors will handle all the building regulations and planning details, implement the designs and offer after sales maintenance and service.
